End of summer

Hopefully it will be a beautiful day Saturday! Felipe Is going to come down and go to the Minnesota State Fair with Evan and I......and maybe my beautiful neices if I can swing it! Phils would like that!

The State Fair is the last big event and signals the end of summer. It is sad to see summer end when it seems it only was a couple weeks long.

School starts next Tuesday. Evan has the normal jitters when it comes to going back to school. New grade, new teacher, less boys in his class. In fact I think that there is just Evan and Michael Lee.....Michael Lee is going to be a Funeral Director when he grows up! Just like his Dad and his Aunt......Scary Carrie Starry from the Mortuary! Ok no tales about the dearly departed today...... but boy do I have some things I could tell ya!

For me, I will continue with the same job with the same people and their same problems. Oh joy! The excitement......not so much. The thing I am looking forward to the most is Julio's return! Yesterday Anntionette, the international admissions counsler called me a told me the I20 was ready for Julio! I was so suprised because she had told me that she would not be issuing the I20 until the 15 of September! I was jumping up and down when she told me it was ready! It will be a great year for Julio! I can hardly wait to find out when he will be here!
