Hurricane, changing my Blog ~~ yada yada yada

Hurricane Ivan will make landfall soon between Mobile Alabama and Pensacola Florida.
Andre and friends are in Jacksonville Florida at a Holiday Inn! They will be there two nights! With any luck, the hurricane will not cause extensive damage and will leave the gulf coast states relatively intact. I am hoping that Andre, Gui and Luis will return home to find everything safe! They should also try to have a good time in Jacksonville! Hey, you only live once and even though this is not a planned trip, have fun!

Well, I did it! I actually figured out how to create a links list! Woo Hoo! I am very proud of myself and may start bragging a little here! Now I want to conquer more with my blog! Gustavo's blog is cool! I like how he can put album covers on it and when he is not completely busy with work and school he can list what his week will be like! I am going to figure those things out one way or another! Now that I have that links thing down I feel like I can do anything.......that will last a whole five minutes until I get totally frustrated with trying to rearrange my blog!

I am so lucky! I know the best people! My very good friend Carrie and I spent some time together last night! We both have been busy with one thing or another these last few months and have not had any time together! I really have missed her even though we see each other occasionally getting coffee or I stop in at the funeral home on my way home! We finally got some time just to talk and catch up! Carrie keeps me thinking smart and is a great moral thermometer for me.......Carrie knows how to have a good time too! She is ao much fun to be with! But she would hit me now and tell me to shut up!

I had fun talking to Cristina tonight! I wanted to call and let her know that Andre was fine and in Jacksonville! She was very relieved to hear that! When I called she was watching the news about Hurricane Ivan and had no idea what was going on with Andre! I am so glad I called her! I hate that she was so worried, but I would be that way too if it were my son! In fact Poor Andre has had to put up with me nagging him to get out of town! I actually started to get the feeling that they might stay in Pensacola! I am so happy they left! You don't really need to experience a hurricane, you can see the destruction when it has left and know you made the right choice to leave!

The week is almost over thank goodness! I am looking forward to this weekend! For some reason I did not sleep much last night and I am looking forward to not hearing the alarm at 6am! I am hoping Phils will be playing Soccer this weekend too! I would love to see him play soccer! I have not seen Phils play more than a couple minutes of soccer and I know he is a great player! I also want to get more pictures of him here on my blog for his Mom! I wish I new Portuguese cause I think I would really like Felipes Mom! You have a terrific son! He is my sweet, sleepy, busy Phils! Gotta love him, he is going places with his life!! Beijos Phils and Beijos Phils Mom!

I am going to a junk sale in Long Lake tomorrow with my sweet sister-in-law Jill! Unfortunately for me I have a meeting at 10:00am at work so I will have to make it a quick at the sale. I need a small table for my printer at work to sit on. Right now every time I print something the printer wobbles back and forth! I need something sturdier!
