Housekeeping 101 Russian style

Ask people who know me and have been to my house. I am not the best house cleaner. I hate it! My house is not dirty, you don't walk in and say OMG! But I hate to clean I hate washing the floors, dusting, that sort of thing! I would rather wash the dishes or cook than clean. Now before you go thinking that my house is dirty, it's not, it's just kinda...hmm.....Messy.......Not all the time but it gets to a point where I am to tired or busy to constantly pick up everything all the time, especially when my son thinks it is fine to leave things where he dropped them.

The other thing I hate is folding clothes! I don't mind washing and drying them.......Let's face it, how hard is it to throw some clothes in a machine with some soap! I just do not like the thought of having to fold all those clothes. So today my sweet friend Lidia Dovganuic wanted to come over and fold my clothes.........Hey you won't hear me arguing about that! I told her that was the only thing she could do! NO CLEANING! Well she folded clothes like lightening and before you new it she was cleaning.......I was protesting but her English is as limited as my Russian...So my protests were ignored for the most part. I think Lidia new exactly what I was saying (she understands more English than she lets on) and just kept cleaning. At this point for me the guilt kicks in.......Not exactly what I wanted to do but I better get with the program! The Russian cleaning program! Actually it was fun or at least not so bad when you do it with a friend!

My house is clean and I am going to make dinner and get Evan ready for the first day of school tomorrow........Where did this summer go?? I hate Evan going back to school probably more than he does. It is so hard! I have been in denial about school! Hey, I did not even buy him school supplies until yesterday! What does that tell you? I know I am supposed to be the grownup here and I know if I had more than one child I would be thinking school couldn't start soon enough, but I don't want summer to end, I don't want school to start.

I have been a little edgy this weekend. People yesterday got on my nerves big time. One woman kept bumping into me with her boobs while I was waiting in line to rent some movies.....she got a look from me after the 3rd time. If you could read my look to her it would have said "You and your F'ing boobs back off or I will make you wish you didn't have any boobs" Craby me.....Sorry to disappoint those who thought I was a nice person 24/7........I can be a bitch when necessary........It is not too often, but it's there hiding, waiting for the opportune moment to rear it's head and bite off someone else's.........hehehe evil me! Okay just kidding.........kinda...

I hope everyone has had a terrific holiday weekend! Time to get in gear for the remaining week ahead! at least it will be short! For some of us anyway......I am sorry for all of you that had to work on the Holiday! If you were making time and a half though......it is really not such a bad thing. Later.......beijos
