So much to say.....so many I think about..

On Monday, Evan leaves for California........without me. He is going with his dad to visit relatives that he has not seen since 2002. This year he has no apprehension about leaving......at least not yet. Hopefully he has matured out of that stage of his life where Mom is everything. It is wonderful to be loved that way but Evan needs to be independent........and so do I.

I cannot say I am looking forward to being totally alone for 11 days......I will miss him very much! I will have enough to do to keep me busy especially with work. I am also looking forward to spending some adult time with my friends......it seems like when school gets out we all get so busy that it is hard to get together. I am looking forward to a fun night out with my very good friend, Carrie.....aka Scarry Carrie Starry From The Mortuary......Love that girl.......5'2 and weighs about a buck, and has the strength to lift dead weight, literally! She operates, with her brother a family owned funeral home in Wayzata. I have worked for her at the funeral home and it has cured me of any weird feelings I might have had towards death & dying. I never understood the compassion that many of the people in this business have. Carrie is a light in my life and a great girlfriend!

I have spent much time over the last few weeks with my other very dear girlfriend Julie....aka Jewels......She is loving, giving, supportive and easy to joke arround with! But the time we have spent together has been at work and I want to spend some girlfriend time with her! She commented the other day how fun it is to be together and that if we did not have children and in her case a husband......we could get ourselves in a lot of fun trouble........we are seriously silly when we are together and there is nothing we cannot say to each other.....especially about men.....hehehe........I will stop right there.

There are other people in my life that I miss............Julio! Beijos BJ!!!! I want him to come back to his US home! So during the time Evan is away I will be doing whatever I can to help Julio get all the documents here to the US and to Normandale College. Hopefully this will go smoothly and we will find out for certain when Julio is coming home to Minnesota.

Another plan for my free time is to get a second package off to Andre. After the long drive from middle of no where Kansas......to hurricane season Florida....Andre can use a package and the fun that surrounds knowing that you are getting it! Andre and Gui are going to be very busy getting an apartment and registered for classes by the 23rd.......They need all the support they can get. I have said it before..........Andre is amazing and I am grateful to have him as part of my life even though we have never met......you rock Andre! Beijos to you and Gui! Julio, dude, I know you want some cookies, but I don't think that they would make it to Belo.........maybe I will try just for you!

I would love to go to Duluth and see Phils, but he is working non stop for the next two weeks! Sorry Phils.........work sucks! Phils has a soccer tournament this weekend and tomorrow(Sunday) at 6pm his team will play the college of St. Scholastica. I want to go and see him play but I have a feeling I won't be able to make it with Evan needing my help to get packed for California......Miss ya Phils......Beijos buddy!

Can't think of anything else to ramble on about but I am sure that won't last......lol
