Monday...hmmmmm

It was a good day.........and a sucky day.

The Good!
I got up...a little later than I should, got ready for work........slowly..... had a cup of home brewed coffee....decaf........you do not caffinate this blonde! Drank my coffee, checked my email and then left for work, indirectly.......Went to the bank........Then the post office......Then UPS, where I mailed a package to Andre.....I am so excited about him getting it....hehe...it doesn't take much for me to smile.......Then to caribou to get another cup of decaf..........in the form of a chocolate coffee cooler....yum! Then went to work.......got there, got on line......and there was Andre....Smile......I am at work but I am not working yet........have to talk to Andre for a bit.....then answered some questions for people at work.......tried to do some paper work then my good friend Julie shows up to work........Of course she wants to work as hard as me (smile) and the first task on her list was to go to lunch....Good Idea Jewels.....little guilt on my part for not doing much that morning...got over that quick! Went to lunch with Jewels.........always a good time! Talked as girls do! Of course I will not share that here.......okay we talked about men.....gosh give me a break.........that is all I am saying I am not telling you about the sex talk........opa........I mean the sax talk..yeah that's it.........there was a great sax player at the restaurant! Yeah! He was really good too.......At playing the sax...geesh get you brain out of the gutter! LOL
Went back to work to drop Jewels off and oh yeah.........show her the funny Blonde Star web site....Yeah, I like to go there and listen to it!......I am blonde what do you expect!

The Sucky........If you don't know.......which apparently Andre did not know! I have a broken 3rd Metatarsal on my left foot....I have been in a cast since July 8th. I fractured it on Felipes Birthday (July 7th) when Julio, Felipe and I were downtown Minneapolis......Andre says maybe it was Julio's fault.........I can work with that! Thanks for the suggestion Andre! This last weekend, knowing I was going to the doctor on Monday, I was thinking the Dr. would tell me I could go with out the stupid stinky cast.... So I practiced with out it...I did not wear it....opa........I did not reinjure it, and it felt fairly decent.........considering that when I broke it, I thought it was a muscle cramp.....but when the doc showed me the x-rays today....I thought it was the pictures of the initial fracture.....He said.......uh, NO, these were taken today Ms Blondie! ( oh fine he didn't call me that) My jaw dropped......I had no idea how bad my foot was...he showed me the pictures from July 8th, the ones I was never shown! That was probably a good thing.........I cannot believe that they call that broken bone a fracture......OMG it broke in the shape of a "W"........ so the end result is...........I have to wear the stupid, stinky, gross, hot, ugly cast another 3 WEEKS..........boo hoo I want to cry........The doctor told me, when I confessed to not wearing the cast this last weekend, that I was extremely lucky I did not do more damage.........that is the sucky part of my day.......I guess it could be worse.......I could break my other foot.......then I would really be in trouble.........but it would be funny to see me try to walk with 2 cast.......even I would laugh at that!!!
